Donations:
Make a monetary donation to Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers today. Because
we are a federally registered charity your donation is tax-exempt. We
depend on the support of the community to help our program function.
Whether supporting us through donations or buying a ticket on one of
our many raffles the people of the Treasure Coast have always been
strong advocates or our program.
Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers does not
rely on any government funding to run the day-to-day operations of the
program. Financial assistance comes in many other forms:
- Donations - both from citizens and
businesses
- Fundraising Events
- Raffles
- Court ordered donations (i.e. someone
convicted of a crime is ordered by a judge or justice of the peace
to donate money, in essence their fine, to Crime Stoppers.)
Donations from citizens usually come in the
form of money. Donations from businesses, however, can come in cash,
services or products. For example; local media outlets could donate
air time or ad space to help promote our program. This expense alone
runs into the thousands of dollars every year.
We gladly accept donations from individuals, corporations and service
groups. Donations of cash or services are always appreciated and tax
receipts will be issued for donations of $25.00 or more.

Volunteer:
Treasure Coast
Crime Stoppers relies on the active support and participation of
individual volunteers from Martin, Okeechobee, St. Lucie, and Indian
River County. Each and every one is a vital link with the
community without which Crime Stoppers simply could not continue to
serve society.
Get involved in
Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers. It's a successful community program
that encourages people to call or submit online Tips with information
to help solve local crimes throughout the Treasure Coast. Treasure
Coast Crime Stoppers has out-of-the-ordinary opportunities for
volunteers with good presentation and interpersonal skills. Volunteers
work along with staff members, other volunteers and Board members to
promote the program to the public, at school demonstrations,
re-enact crimes on television, and help with special events. These are
flexible volunteer positions that require only 4-5 hours a month. We
need you!
